Property: Moxifloxacin hydrochloride is a fluoroquinolone antibiotics by the German Bayer pharmaceutical development, spectrum similar to other fluoroquinolone antibacterial mechanism and in vitro, but for gram positive bacteria and anaerobic bacteria and antibacterial activity of trovafloxacin (similar to trovafloxacin), better than some of the old varieties. Compared with other fluoroquinolones, the product resistant gram positive bacteria rarely or drug resistance is very slow, cross resistance between bacteria and other fluoroquinolones were found in gram negative bacteria and enterococci. But this product at least for isolates of Staphylococcus aureus bead grlA, grlB, gyrA or gyrB, this product is 0.5 ~ 2 mg/L can inhibit the ciprofloxacin resistant Staphylococcus aureus, according to MIC from high to low in the order of ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, levofloxacin, sparfloxacin, moxifloxacin.
Usage:
