Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabrics are fiberglass base fabrics which have been coated with our specially formulated silicone rubber compound. This silicone coating extends life while providing oil & water resistance as well as greater abrasion, puncture and tear resistance to base fiberglass fabrics.
This series of Fabrics are ideal to be used for the outer layer of a removable insulation jacketing system for they provide tough resistance to water, oil and heat while they are flexible and easy to fabricate into removable insulation covers or pads that can provide continued protection up to 500°F (260°C).
